First up is Anbe Diana, a gentle little love story that hit theatres on July 17, 2026, before making its way to streaming on August 28. Set in Perambur, a lively pocket of Chennai, the film follows Sita Krishna, a shy, soft spoken Telugu athletics coach, who ends up falling for his spirited Anglo Indian neighbor, Diana D'Souza. What follows is a warm mix of romance, family drama, and gentle comedy as their two very different worlds slowly find common ground. Pari Elavazhagan plays Sita, with Ramya Ranganathan as Diana, alongside Chetan, Roja Selvamani, and Gopi Aravindh rounding out the cast. It's rated U/A, so it's better suited to older teens and adults rather than younger kids.

Then there's Crime Patrol 2026, also going by the name Crime Ka Current Season, the fifteenth season of the show that's been a fixture of Indian true crime TV since 2003. Ajay Devgn steps in for Anup Soni, bringing his own promo line, "Main rahunga aapke saath," a reassurance to viewers that he's with them through every story, urging alertness over fear.
